Unbound Unleashed: Building a VIP Concert Experience from the Ground Up
Transforming an empty Boston venue into an immersive evening of live music, culinary theater, technology, and celebration
Unbound Unleashed was designed to be more than an after-hours event. As the VIP celebration accompanying HubSpot’s 2026 conference in Boston, the concert served as an energetic anchor to daytime conversations surrounding AI, agentic platform growth, and modern go-to-market strategies.
The goal was to give guests a completely different kind of experience once the sessions ended—one that felt exclusive, visually unforgettable, and alive with unexpected moments.
LMH Experiences brought that vision to life inside the Boston Lyric Opera, transforming a completely raw space into a fully produced concert venue and immersive hospitality experience.
Starting with an Empty Canvas
When the Boston Lyric Opera was first secured, we were not walking into a traditional event venue. We were starting with an entirely empty space that had never hosted an event of this scale.
There was no existing stage, established event flow, permanent bar setup, or blueprint for how hundreds of guests would move through the venue. Every element had to be imagined, mapped, sourced, built, and tested from the ground up.
Hundreds of planning hours went into visualizing every inch of the space—from electrical requirements, wiring, sound, and lighting to stage construction, custom bars, culinary activations, furniture placement, branding, and guest flow.
The challenge was significant, but so was the opportunity: a completely blank canvas gave us the freedom to build something guests had never experienced before.
A Venue Transformed
By the time the doors opened, the once-empty venue had become a vibrant, multi-level environment filled with music, hospitality, and interactive moments.
A custom stage and full-scale production setup created the focal point of the evening, while a dramatic circular bar and secondary satellite bar kept the space energized and service flowing. Lounge groupings, cocktail tables, a pool table, and shuffleboard created natural gathering areas where guests could relax and connect between performances.
Two floors of coordinated check-in helped welcome guests into the experience, while thoughtful signage, lighting, furniture, and branded details made the transformation feel intentional from every angle.
The final result was visually striking—an event environment that stopped guests in their tracks from the moment they entered.
An Evening Designed to Unfold
Rather than centering the entire evening around one single moment, Unbound Unleashed was filled with layers of discovery.
Guests could explore the space, enjoy live entertainment, interact with an AI activation, visit the merchandise experience, watch dishes prepared in front of them, or settle into one of the lounges with a cocktail. Each area offered something new while still feeling connected to the larger event.

Solstice opened with a jazz-pop performance before Magic City Hippies brought the energy to the main stage.
Custom Merchandise
Crewnecks, hats, water bottles, artist merchandise, and custom HubSpot belt bags handmade in Peru.
Culinary Theater
Live-seared Wagyu, floating branded displays, passed bites, freshly piped cannoli, and branded takeaway pizzas.
Elevated Beverages
Custom bars, passed espresso martinis, handcrafted cocktails, and a live champagne-sabering moment.
Interactive Moments
An AI activation, pool table, shuffleboard, and lounge environments designed for exploration and connection.
A Transformed Venue
A custom stage, full concert production, two-floor check-in, custom bars, lounge seating, and seamless guest flow.
With so many custom-built elements and vendors working simultaneously, success depended on every detail being considered long before guests arrived. LMH Experiences managed those moving pieces as one cohesive program, allowing the client team to remain focused on its guests and the celebration itself.
The Result
Unbound Unleashed delivered the kind of evening that could not have been replicated inside a traditional ballroom or restaurant.
It was bold, immersive, and full of moments guests wanted to photograph, experience, and talk about. From the floating Wagyu displays and champagne sabering to the custom merchandise, live music, and branded pizzas waiting at departure, every touchpoint contributed to something larger than a concert.
What began as a completely empty space became a visually unforgettable VIP experience—and a true celebration of the ideas, innovation, and connections that defined the week.
